A Parklet is a small urban park that is built by designers in place of two-three parking spaces. My friend and I decided to remodel this parklet (on ninth avenue and Irving in San Francisco, CA) by building tables and planters from scratch. In order to make this project happen, we pitched our idea to the bakery that owns the Parklet and had a number of client meetings with the owners. This project took months to plan and execute, as well as communicating with the clients.
