This specific design, titled Evoke, began as a doodle and expanded to become my signature pattern. The psychedelic style that my art takes on is rooted from this particular piece and this design even developed my love for patterns. When drawing this pattern the task becomes mindless and subconscious--simply allowing my hand to jot down the movement

of thoughts swirling in my head. I later burned the original design onto a screen and used it to screenprint T-shirts. Each design represents the indirect communication of thoughts and our inability

to translate feelings and ideas into words. The models wearing the shirts are some of my good friends. When handing each shirt off , I attempt to share a little bit of insanity with those I love.
